Terms & Conditions
- This is a preliminary quotation based on the initial site visit and is subject to verification by our Head Office. A final, approved digital copy will be shared after review.
- Any calculation or estimation errors found during verification may lead to a revision of the final quotation.
- The report is based on visual observations during the inspection and does not include hidden or inaccessible issues.
- The inspection and diagnosis are carried out using established technical methods and professional expertise, achieving an accuracy level of approximately 90% in identifying visible and accessible sources of defects. However, certain sources particularly those concealed within structural elements or inaccessible areas may remain undetected during the initial assessment. In such cases, a rule-out diagnostic procedure is proposed as a systematic and cost-effective method to narrow down and identify the hidden source. If seepage or related issues persist following the recommended repair works, it shall be deemed an indication of a possible concealed or secondary source that was not detectable during the initial inspection. The rule-out procedure will then be implemented to determine and address the underlying cause.
- We aim to provide simple and cost-effective solutions. Major repairs or civil modifications are only recommended when absolutely necessary.
- Treated areas may take up to a month to fully dry, depending on site conditions. Immediate results should not be expected.
- Dampness reduction depends on severity and conditions, with typical drying times of 2-4 weeks (mild), 4-8 weeks (moderate), and 2-3 months or longer (severe). These timelines may vary with site conditions, ventilation, and weather.
- If dampness does not reduce within the expected timeframe, the customer must report it to Cyond's engineer for reassessment and further diagnostics.
- Customers are expected to monitor the treated areas and inform us of any recurring issues.
- This quotation and report are valid for a limited period. Delays or changes in scope may lead to revisions.
- Any civil works like demolition or reconstruction must be confirmed in writing with our Head Office. Cyond is not responsible for issues caused by unapproved work.
- Our responsibility is limited to the scope of inspection and recommendations. We are not liable for issues discovered later or outside the inspected areas.
- The final quotation will include all applicable terms, including payment, warranty (if any), and scope of service.
- Photos taken during inspection are for reference, internal documentation and training purpose only. They are not a complete record of site conditions.
- If third-party work is done without consulting us, our advice or warranty will stand void.
- By proceeding with the solutions, the customer agrees to the above terms and will cooperate during execution.
- If the inspection area or time exceeds the booked limits, the customer will be informed on-site, and additional charges will apply. Any extra requests beyond the original booking will only be considered if the engineer has no other scheduled appointments. Payment must be made on-site before proceeding with additional services.
- Slot booking is subject to availability and confirmation. Any booking fee paid is non-refundable but will be adjusted against inspection charges.
- Rescheduling or cancellation must be informed at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations within 48 hours will incur 50% of the inspection fee.
- If the property is locked, inaccessible, or no authorized person is present to provide access/decisions, the visit will be considered completed. A re-visit can be arranged with applicable charges.
Cyond does not undertake plumbing work or any plumbing-related services, including pipe repairs, fittings, or internal plumbing modifications. Customers / Clients are expected to clearly understand the scope of services offered and communicate the same accurately during client interactions.

- Any additional requests beyond the original booking will be considered only if the engineer has no other scheduled appointments.
- Treated areas may take up to 30 days or more to fully dry. Since drying time depends on severity, 2-4 weeks for mild dampness, 4-8 weeks for moderate seepage, and up to 2-3 months for severe cases. Treated areas need adequate time & apt weather conditions to dry, and immediate results should not be expected.
