TERMS & CONDITIONS – INSPECTION SLOT BOOKING

1. Scope of Inspection

  • The inspection is a visual examination of accessible areas only.
  • No destructive testing or specialized equipment is carried out unless specifically agreed in writing.
  • Concealed areas such as behind walls, under floors, or within ceilings are excluded.
  • Systems such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or structural stability are not covered unless specifically included.
  • Water leakage may originate from multiple sources; identifying some sources does not guarantee complete resolution.
  • In some cases, a rule-out method may be required, which involves eliminating possible causes over time (may take 1–2 months).
  •

2. Accuracy & Limitations

  • Inspection and diagnosis are based on established technical methods and professional expertise.
  • Approximately 90% accuracy is achieved in identifying visible and accessible defects.
  • Concealed or secondary sources may remain undetected during the initial inspection.
  • If seepage persists after repairs, it may indicate an underlying concealed source requiring further investigation through the rule-out method.
  • Photographs taken during inspection are for reference, internal documentation, and training only. They do not represent a complete record of site conditions.
  • The inspection is not a code compliance check and does not certify adherence to building regulations.
  • The inspector is not responsible for consequential damages arising from the inspection or limitations of source identification.
  •

3. Client Responsibilities

  • The client must provide access to all areas to be inspected.
  • The client is responsible for informing the Engineer of any known issues or concerns prior to the inspection.
  • The client is responsible for ensuring that the property is in a clean and hygienic condition to allow for a safe and effective inspection. If the inspector determines that hygienic conditions are not met, the inspection will be rescheduled, and additional fees may apply.
  • Any rescheduling or cancellation of the inspection slot without prior notification at least 48 hours before the scheduled time will incur a charge of 50% of the inspection fee paid.
  •

4. Booking & Payments

  • Slot booking is subject to availability and confirmation.
  • Any booking fee is non-refundable but will be adjusted against the inspection charges.
  • Payment for inspection is due on-site upon completion, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • If the inspection area or duration exceeds booked limits, additional charges will apply and must be paid before continuation.
  • Any additional requests beyond the original booking will only be considered if the engineer has no other scheduled appointments.
  • Additional on-site services (if requested) must be paid for before execution.
  • If payment deadlines are not met, the inspection report may be withheld until settlement.
  •

5. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

  • A refund, after deducting handling charges, will be provided if the inspection is canceled by the client at least 48 hours before the scheduled inspection time.
  • If the cancellation is made within 48 hours of the inspection, 50% of the inspection fee paid will be refunded.
  • No refund will be issued if the cancellation is made on the day of the inspection.
  • In the case of rescheduling due to unhygienic conditions, additional fees may apply, and no refunds will be issued for the initial payment.
  • No refunds will be issued once the inspection has been completed, and the client has received the inspection report.
  •

6. Third-Party Work & Liability

  • If third-party work is undertaken without consulting Cyond, our advice or warranty will be void.
  • Clients are free to choose their own contractors, including third-party providers.
  • If clients prefer not to share their details with referred professionals, they must inform Cyond in advance.
  •

7. Warranty Claims Policy

  • Warranty is strictly restricted to the mentioned time period in the provided certificate, and aligns with all the clauses mentioned in the T&C’s document.

Exclusions:

  • Damage caused by natural disasters, accidents, structural movement, or alterations not performed by the contractor.
  • Improper maintenance or negligence.
  • Any work performed by other contractors that impacts the repair work done.
  • Claim Procedure:
  • In the event of a defect covered by this warranty, the client must notify Cyond in writing via call/chat at +91 9240030712 or email at info@cyond.com within 7 days of discovering the defect. Cyond will conduct an inspection, and if the issue is covered under the warranty, the defect will be repaired at no additional cost to the client.

Limitations:

  • Cyond’s liability under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing the defective work. Cyond is not responsible for any incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to damage to the building structure, contents, or loss of use.
  • However, Cyond shall not be held responsible under the following circumstances:
  • Tampering or Physical damage to our work by any party.
  • Damage is caused by factors beyond our control, such as structural issues unrelated to the repair work, non-maintenance of associated elements, structural cracks, plumbing damage, or acts of God like natural calamities.
  •

8. Acceptance of Terms

By booking an inspection slot, approving a quotation, or proceeding with inspection services, the client acknowledges and agrees to these Terms & Conditions in full.
